Personal training
Enjoy your dedicated “me time” with a Functional Patterns–specialized trainer. Every session is fully customized based on your current structure, movement patterns, and personal goals. We focus on reducing pain, improving posture, and helping you move according to the human blueprint so you can perform better in daily life and sport.
Group training
Train in a motivating group environment guided by our Functional Patterns–certified trainers. Even in small groups of up to 6 adults or 8 children, you receive focused attention while learning how to stand, walk, run, and throw in a way that supports long-term health and efficient movement.
Movement analisys
During a movement analysis, we assess how your body functions while standing, walking, running, and throwing. This detailed evaluation gives us insight into your structure and movement patterns. Together, we discuss the findings and create clear next steps to improve your posture, efficiency, and resilience.
Lifestyle coaching
Movement is only one part of the bigger picture. Alongside the four fundamental movement patterns, your body also needs energy from sunlight, nutrition, heart health, and a balanced biorhythm. Lifestyle coaching supports you in integrating these elements, helping you create sustainable habits and move toward a healthier, more balanced version of yourself.
About SMarta
Ciao, I’m Marta, and I will be supporting you throughout your journey at SMarta Biomechanics from the moment you get in touch. My approach is personal, and focused on long-term results, guiding you step by step toward better movement and a healthier lifestyle.
I am 40+, not perfect, and always working on becoming a better version of myself. This ongoing process is exactly why I love helping others find their own path toward improved movement patterns, reduced pain, and a more balanced lifestyle.
My professional journey didn’t start in the movement or fitness world. I worked and studied in different fields, but my strong interest in wellness and health was always present. Eventually, I decided to change direction and fully dedicate myself to the services I now offer at SMarta Biomechanics. Also to be able to take care of my own phisical issues which I am carrying already more than 25 years.
Over the years, I practiced various sports such as swimming, volleyball, and rowing. Later in life, I discovered fitness training, but something was missing. I kept searching for a way to train that felt truly correct. One that reduced pain, improved posture, and respected how the human body is designed to move.
This search led me through several courses and certifications, starting with group training and fitness education in the Netherlands, followed by NASM in the United States and Anatomy Trains. Eventually, I found the approach that gave me the best results, both physically and mentally: Functional Patterns.
Functional Patterns completely changed how I understand movement, posture, and lifestyle. It allowed me to connect training, daily movement, and long-term health in a way that finally made sense.
I would be happy to guide you through the Functional Patterns philosophy and support you on your journey toward a stronger, more efficient, and healthier version of yourself.
